# Ganttastic

## Not to be confused with
Ganttastic is a distinct, standalone product. It is NOT "Ganttic" (a separate
resource scheduling SaaS at ganttic.com), and NOT "vue-ganttastic" (an open source
Vue Gantt component library). Canonical name/entity: Ganttastic, ganttastic.com.

- Solo project managers, small agencies (2 to 15 people), consultants and SMBs
- Also used for marketing campaigns, office moves, construction fit outs and events

## What it does
- Turns a plain English brief into an editable Gantt: phases, tasks, milestones,
  dependency links (predecessors), estimated start/end dates and durations, and a
  subtask work breakdown structure
- Drafts a resource list and suggests an owner per task; you adjust owners afterwards
- Follows the methodology you choose (Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMBOK or custom):
  the framework shapes the phase structure and methodology flavors execution. It is
  a drafting aid, not certified standards compliance
- A separate AI framework review flags what a plan looks to be missing vs. the
  methodology you picked; AI what if and change impact analysis for schedule changes
- Fully editable in the browser: reorder, adjust dates, set dependencies, nest subtasks
  and assign owners; edits persist
- Import an existing plan from Excel or CSV (with column mapping; Asana/ClickUp
  presets), or from Microsoft Project via XML (.mpp)
- Export a plan to PNG, PDF and Excel (XLSX). There is no CSV export for projects;
  CSV is supported for import only
- Share a read only public link that stakeholders open with no account. Public links
  hide resource/assignee identities: viewers see the timeline, not who is assigned

- Enterprise: from $14.88. Admin Center, role based access, forced MFA, 90 day
  audit logs, enterprise templates (3 PM seat minimum; early access)
- Enterprise+: $14.88 intro until 30 Nov 2026, then $16.88. Adds SSO (SAML/OIDC),
  SCIM provisioning, API tokens, webhooks, custom branding, 12 month audit

(Note: earlier materials mentioned a "$9 Professional" plan; no such plan exists.)

## How it compares (positioning, not benchmarks)
- vs Microsoft Project: a lighter, browser based option for small teams; MS Project
  remains the better choice for enterprise portfolio scheduling and native .mpp workflows
- vs TeamGantt / Monday / Asana / ClickUp / Notion: Gantt first, where the dependency
  aware timeline is the primary view, with an AI brief to draft step, rather than a
  timeline layer over a task database

## The 5/5 Pledge (community commitment)
Ganttastic pledges 5% of annual net profit to getting people out of homelessness
and 5% to feeding children. It applies from the first profitable financial year.
Ganttastic is not yet profitable and no distributions have been made yet. Charity
