About
The story behind Ganttastic
Built for project managers, by a project manager
Project managers turn a brief into a schedule the team can follow. You manage dates, people and stakeholder expectations, all while answering the same question: when will it be done? Your planning tools should make that easier, not create more work.
Ganttastic started with that problem.
Our story
Ganttastic's founder spent more than 10 years in enterprise consulting and project delivery, including roles at Oracle and Micros Systems and work inside client teams at organizations such as Merivale and Downer.
The same problem kept surfacing. Some planning tools were too complex and took constant effort to maintain. Others were too thin for real project work. Either way, stakeholders were left with a schedule they could not read.
There had to be a better way to get from a brief to a plan.
What we build
Ganttastic turns a project brief into an editable Gantt plan. Describe the work in plain English and it drafts the phases, tasks, dates, dependencies and suggested task owners. It adapts to how you work, whether that is PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile or a hybrid.
You can edit every part. The AI writes the first draft; you stay the project manager.
- For project managers: a fast way to build, adjust and track a schedule, so you spend less time fighting the software and more time running the project.
- For stakeholders: a clear Gantt chart you share with a read only link that needs no account, so anyone can see the timeline, milestones and progress at a glance.
A work in progress
Ganttastic keeps improving with help from the people who use it. If something is missing or could work better, tell us. We read every message.
