Start from a brief
Paste something like this.
“We're launching our new B2B analytics platform in early Q4 and need an integrated campaign to drive demo requests. Channels are LinkedIn and Meta paid social, Google Search, a three-email nurture sequence and a dedicated landing page, plus a bit of PR. Team is me (marketing manager), one in-house designer, a freelance copywriter and an agency running paid media, on roughly a $45k media budget. Goal is 400 qualified demos and it needs to be live in about 9 weeks.”
That’s the before. Here’s the plan Ganttastic builds from it.

Key dependencies
- Strategy has to lock before any creative starts: copywriters and designers cannot produce ads, emails or a landing page until the offer, positioning, audience and KPIs are signed off, so a slow brief delays everything downstream.
- Tracking is the hidden critical path: UTM parameters, pixels and conversion events must be built and QA'd before any media goes live, or you lose attribution on early spend that you can never recover.
- Brand and legal review sits serially between production and launch, and paid media cannot activate until the landing page and conversion tracking pass QA.
- Retargeting and nurture flows depend on the pixel and audience segments being live first, so build those early rather than in launch week.
Timeline risks
- Campaigns slip most often in creative review: stakeholder, brand and legal rounds routinely run over, so buffer three to five working days for revisions rather than assuming one clean pass.
- Ad-platform approval is the other common trap, since Meta and Google can take 24-48 hours to review ads and may reject on policy, so submit creative days before go-live, not the morning of.
- Freelance and agency deliverables plus landing-page development are frequent bottlenecks, so add a QA buffer before launch and keep a fallback creative set ready.
